It Is Here

Tomorrow I will go to work for the last time.  Turn in my demo, keys and have my exit interview and while it isn't the end of life it is a significant change in life.  I look forward to it with some hesitation but Mia and I are ready and we need to spend some time traveling around the country before we land at home for the duration.  It has been a great run.

I can't say enough good things about my employer and his family.  I look forward to a completely different relationship with him and his wife once this chapter is over.  He has made it abundantly clear that we are to stay in touch.

This Thursday Mia and I will go away to decompress.  Pretty sure you can guess where.  (there is a large pile of gravel waiting)  We plan to shut down our computers and phones and go off grid for a couple of weeks.  Just enjoy camping, taking hikes,  walking the dog, fixing meals and enjoying each others company.

We will see you on the flip side.
